Mark Lanegan has died aged 57

Screaming Trees singer Mark Lanegan has died aged 57. The news was confirmed by a post on his social media pages.

The post read: "Our beloved friend Mark Lanegan passed away this morning at his home in Killarney, Ireland.

"A beloved singer, songwriter, author and musician he was 57 and is survived by his wife Shelley. No other information is available at this time. We ask Please respect the family privacy"

Mark Lanegan after the SCREAMING TREES disbanded , had an emblematic solo career, along some more then interesting and fruitful collaborations such as with Isobell Cambell or Soulsavers. A man who lived with his addictions was hailed by a lot, as the most charismatic,dark, singer of the 90s .A troubled man, who fought with addictions and left behind a solid body of work to listen and grieve and have a whiskey to commemorate him.
